Well, it's been a while since we posted anything here. We left for our road trip to the "North Country" on August 17th, and returned here on the 30th. We came home a day earlier than planned, and went to see Bobby's father at the hospice the next morning. 15 minutes after we left him, he died. It was fate. He had been ill for a long time, but it was still a blow for all of us. So, our vacation was followed by a further trip East, where Bobby's Dad wanted to be buried with his parents at an old church cemetery in Califon New Jersey. What follows are several pictures and brief accompanying notes to kind of summarize the entire period from August 17th until September 11th.
