OIL CITY as a boom town in the early years of the 20th century. Of course nothing of this exists today, but the "main street" (LAND AVE.) still is referred to as "downtown" OIL CITY and a few businesses remain.

- Thom and Bobby
- Thom was born in 1947 in Milwaukee WI, a Vietnam Veteran, and has lived all over the country, but mostly in New York City where he had a picture framing business for many years. Bobby was born in Flemington New Jersey, and lived most of his life in that area before moving to LA. He spent many years in the health care field, before becoming a letter carrier in 1999. Bobby and Thom met on the internet in 2000.
