These are long time friends of Thom's from his days at MCCONNELL AFB in Wichita. They live in a town called DERBY, Kansas where Thom lived briefly in 1968. They were kind enough to take us to an APPLEBEE'S for dinner. Mary is 80 and Mel is 81. It was great seeing them again. The last time was in 1982.
